The quintessential 80s movie. Soundtrack by Queen (my favorite soundtrack ever, BTW). And Sean Connery. When NYC was truly Gotham (sadly it is again). And swords, lots of swords. Love, love, love this movie.
In regards to the sequels–there should have been only one (movie that is)–the original.

That was the “shop movie” in my workspace on my first carrier (CV 67, workcenter 65P/65Q). No telling how many times we watched it. I think I could recite all the dialogue in my sleep.–Tennessee Budd
