    Actually, thanks to protectionist tarrifs and ag subsidies to corn producers, High Fructose Corn Syrup is much cheaper than sugar, which is why ALL US soda producers switched. Thankfully HFCS also causes and worsens diabetes and causes countless long term health issues as well so bigPharma and the western medical cartel can make huge profits for the lifetime of the soda consumer.
