A school district in Maryland has created its own blanket policy that will not allow parents to opt-out their children from ‘gender identity’ lessons. Yep, these are little kids who haven’t even gone to sex-ed classes (which they ARE allowed to opt-out of).
“Students and families may not choose to opt out of engaging with any instructional materials, other than ‘Family Life and Human Sexuality Unit of Instruction’ which is specifically permitted by Maryland law. As such, teachers will not send home letters to inform families when inclusive books are read in the future.”
Good luck to the parents. They are trying to get all of the communities together to allow an opt-out (please note they aren’t even wanting it to stop, they just want the option to not have their children indoctrinated against their wishes).
