Randi Weingarten, the head of the American Federation of Teachers and close adviser to the CDC during the pandemic (she really, really wanted to keep schools closed and children masked) has received her latest bag of silver.
I’m presuming that, because of the above work with the government, she is now going to be sitting on a committee under Homeland Security.
The DHS press release states that “Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas announced new members to the Homeland Security Academic Partnership Council (HSAPC), which he reconstituted in 2022. The Council will provide strategic and actionable recommendations to the Secretary on campus safety and security, improved coordination, research priorities, hiring, and more.”
Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State, has said the following:
I tell the story often — I get asked “Who’s the most dangerous person in the world? Is it Chairman Kim, is it Xi Jinping?” The most dangerous person in the world is Randi Weingarten. It’s not a close call. If you ask, “Who’s the most likely to take this republic down?” It would be the teacher’s unions, and the filth that they’re teaching our kids, and the fact that they don’t know math and reading or writing.
He’s not wrong. And now they are giving her even more power.
