They do realize that Darth Maul was a bad guy, right?

I’m going to admit straight up that I did not watch Brandon’s speech last night.  I had a pretty good idea of how it would go and from reports today, it was actually worse than I imagined.

Between the colors (Evil Star Wars red and black), the Marines in the background (I’m sorry for those guys), and the hateful rhetoric that would not have been out of place in 1930s Germany, whoever is pulling the strings really tried to get a response.

For myself, I think that it’s a problem with having liberal Millennials and Gen Zs that can’t meme run the show.  I think that all of the above was supposed to be a continuation of their ‘Dark Brandon’ push that they claim is organic, but is really a vapid push by the left. Because they don’t understand nuance, instead of a Boss, they created the look of an Evil Overlord.

Even some folks at CNN and CBS were taken abackOthers at CNN tried to run cover.

It also reminds me of the Star Trek episode where a StarFleet officer changed a world using the Nazis as a model.  He was also a bobble head, drugged up figurehead at the end of the day.

  1. You would think a good democrat would know you have fireside chats to bring citizens together, not scenes from a colorized Leni Riefenstahl movie. Even Jimmy Carter knew that when he sat there wearing a cardigan trying to explain how not to freeze during the oil embargo.I didn't watch it either last night so I thought the blood red background lighting was only in memes. Boy was I wrong.
